Is that everywhere? I once had a PO box and I had to go down to the post office, use my key to open the box and retrieve the mail myself.

The whole point of a PO Box is so they won't deliver mail to your home address. I used to have a PO Box because people were stealing my mail or smashing my mail box. My mail box was (and still is) about a mile from my house. I now have a large heavy duty steel locking mail box that has survived for several years.
