respond that you charge $200/hr + per diem, portal-to-portal transportation and lodging, + they waver any liabilities. if they bite, that’s the start of your own consulting business.

I actually have a small consulting business. I reply to these every so often with a similar request.

Not surprisingly, it's always "Thank you I will contact you if I find an opportunity more suitable"
