I'm sorry, anyone that has earned a PHD is a Doctor. That does not mean they are Medical Doctors, but they all are. I have no idea why this is a big deal for anyone.
There are doctors... and then there are PHDs handed out for nonsense like pushing common core. It's always the asshole w/ a doctorate in some made up gender studies type shit, that is obsessed w/ their title b/c deep down they know they are frauds.
Oh certainly people have bullshit disciplines that have earned them PHD's. That is the problem with the institution that gave it out. You can get a PHD for under water basket weaving if someone will let you. You're still a Doctor.
Yes... but I've never heard anyone w/ a PHD in say... chemistry demand others call them doctor. It's always the insecure 'social soft sciences' types obsessed w/ demanding respect while spouting crazy cat lady nonsense lol.
