From the post:

>Many a frustrated user has sworn they'll launch Microsoft Outlook into space, but NASA has actually done it – on a journey around the Moon, where it's now causing problems for astronauts. The astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft currently circling the Earth are taking care of a bunch of housekeepign tasks, including getting their devices working. Judging by some space-to-ground communications with controllers at Houston, it isn't going well.

Yes. It's a web wrapper but they aren't calling it a web wrapper. I was asked to fix someone's Outlook and I told them they are using New Outlook and there's nothing I can do to fix it. It was a Marketing VP. He was flabbergasted. He asked why I can't fix it and I explained because New Outlook doesn't run on his $4000 MacBook Pro. I've been pushing people off of New Outlook as much as I can.

Of course, one day M$ will flip the switch and force it on everybody.

They've randomly been flipping that switch for people. Not even entire orgs, just random users will lose the ability to use old Outlook. It's bullshit. New Outlook for Mac is the fucking worst too. It's so buggy and you can't find any info about it because it's all referencing old Outlook. They literally just added local archive importation into it. A feature you'd think it would have shipped with just added a out 2 months ago.

I could go on, but I'll stop there. Fuck Microsoft.

I tried New Outlook until I stopped getting calendar reminders. That's kind of important.
