Yep, and they are all probably going to be driven by Linux in the future. (If they are not already, a lot probably are).
If I had the energy, I’d pick one of the biggest management systems for things like the paper industry, produce industry the likes, then build a client server system, and make it just work.
Then sell The fuck out of it.
That really should not be all that complicated. I have built a ton of *nix print server systems that take "generic" input from other systems and translate it. That was over a decade ago.

We have several linux servers running barcode and dot matrix printers. Only the laser printers are running on windows print servers.
