If the boss is not in the same office as you and they are "remote" then why the fuck should they have anything to say about where you are working from?

Ass-In-Chair managers are fucking useless and do nothing but waste everyone's time that is actually trying to work.

From the post:

>Microsoft Teams might just be the new office snitch, thanks to a feature rolling out soon that can track a worker’s location. The update, set to arrive in December, will let Microsoft’s communication platform automatically detect when an employee arrives at the office by monitoring their connection to the building’s Wi-Fi. If you’re working on-site and step out, Teams will automatically change your work location once it notices you’ve disconnected.

This reminds me of a story.

A friend who worked as a temp at some of the manufacturing warehouses in town said a friend of hers told his manager he was leaving the job but he never told the temp agency. He gave his badge to his friend and she scanned him in and out every shift. She said it took months for the temp agency to stop his wage payments. They never figured out who was scanning his card for him.
