Prior work used Slack. Half the clicks to quickly change status, avatar change didn't take days to propagate like our Teams instance, and easier config of message editor preferences. My audio prefs keep getting changed as well but I think that's an underlying Windows problem. IMO Teams reinvents the wheel poorly. It's an ill-designed component of a turn-key business package aimed at businesses with only Windows admins who don't know there's better (or don't know how to use anything else).
