Aint no surprise to me, f*ng brand new hp envy POS printer/scanner rarely works. Give me an old dinosaur daisy tractor wheel printer. Loud and slow but they worked.

I have a brother MFC laser. Its been working just fine for ~10+ years at this point. I don't have to install drivers for it to work in Linux either, it just works.

The toner seems to last forever too, though I don't print that often.
