I remember when windows 10 was announced, Microsoft that that it would be the last version of windows.

Yep, it was going to be the forever version and just continually updated. Guess once you get to a certain point, code becomes legacy and gets hard to update.

Heh. I don't even know where my win7 disk is anymore. Haven't touched a windows distro since 2014
