Yes, it's a mashable archive link because I cannot find the actual bing page anymore. It was there yesterday morning. Microsoft was suggesting that you do the following to be bumped up on the wait list to get access to the bing chat AI;
- Make Edge your default browser
- Make Bing your default search engine
- Make MSN your default homepage.
- Pin Bing.com to the Taskbar.
- Add Microsoft-recommended sites to Favorites.
- Create a desktop shortcut for Microsoft Edge.
- Download the Bing app for your mobile phone.
Any rational, smart, human would look at that list and start forming some basic questions. Especially if they realize that having any new Microsoft OS which requires a MS account.
In short, Microsoft got caught with their pants down and pulled these 'suggestions' back because it revealed a bit too much about telemetry that gets tied to the MS account required for using their OS.
