Fixing to run away from my problems for a week or two, enjoy prestigious nature the likes of which I have yet to see, and hopefully meet some stand-up people. Would like to make the trip in July, though it would more likely be August or early September. I would likely spend most of my time in Marquette. Is the UP still a White paradise?

If your trip requires the use of the Mackinac Bridge on the I75, I hope that no boats smash into it collapsing the whole thing; it is a long drive around lake Michigan that is avoided by that bridge.
