Focus on how childish and cringey it is to 'lose control'. I've met a few men that were raised to think that losing emotional control, and the following physical tantrum, in whichever form it takes, is an expression of power. They saw their fathers lash out, and they emulate... it's not powerful to get angry, then lash out verbally or physically. It's the exact opposite, as it shows you never developed the skillset and mastery over your own being. Then realize how embarrassing your outbursts have really been percieved, and your ego typically will do the rest.....
I’m not a violent person. My anger goes inward. I’m usually pretty nice to people but I can eat myself alive. It makes for weird behavior.
