Rubio was part of the gang of eight. What better way to dislodge him from that position than put him in a less consequential high visibility position, and keep an eye on him.

It is possible Trump has converted him, cut his puppet strings, made a deal to clear him from whatever blackmail (((they))) had on him.

If, in the end, he doesn't meet Trump's expectations, Trump will fire and replace him.

Actually Trump is helping us to pull America out of the abyss. What a mess they are handing him. I'm sure it will get worse before inauguration.

I support my President, as long as he isn't a commie and works to constitutionally make America great again. And, as seen in the recent election, so do most Americans.

He's Trump's puppet now. Rubio is desperate for an eventual presidential run, and Trump can give that to him. He would even miss a foam party for that.
