Just pay them like you do everyone else and stop the tipping garbage. If you do an exceptional job I'm probably going to leave a few $ anyway.

This also would not be counted as tip income and could trigger make up wages for the employee for not receiving sufficient tips to earn minimum wage. It's like a tip booster if everybody does it.
