It's a bit ironic actually. Trump's dropping a bomb on our gunboat diplomacy in the Middle East torpedoed the Cutter-Turkey pipeline, whose main purpose was to provide an alternative for natural gas delivery for Europe. (And probably take over supply entirely via legislative fiat rather than competition which would drive the prices down, but let's pretend the motives behind its construction were wholly selfless.) Wasn't Trump talking about shutting down coal and nuclear plants though?
