The whole idea isn't to replace meat with something that works, the idea is to use it to destroy the meat industries and then yank away the new stuff which will be "suddenly" discovered to be bad for you. The result will be chaos and starvation that will kill millions(or potentially billions if the other dominoes fall). The whole point isn't meat replacement, it's depopulation.
