Treat your animals well when they're alive. Kill them humanely so they don't suffer. Don't insult them by wasting them.
Not opposed to meat. That said, there is a major difference between ethical animal husbandry and sickening feed-lots that turn out antibiotic-riddled animals and in-turn slaughter them typically by any means (most video out there is horrific); notwithstanding the stresses of feed-lots coupled with forced drugs changes the protein. Just so 'everybody' has an equal chance. Totally on-point with @stupidbird.
They were made delicious for a reason.
Corporations have really made things horrible.. the large corporate meat processes are horrific for all things involved. I try to always buy local, but these days an entire animal, processed and wrapped, is about $4000-5000.
This is proof that meat doesn't make you smarter.
Not eating meat is technically terrorism because the demand falls and then, so does production. Then meat becomes less available and entire farms and businesses close and many livelihoods are destroyed leading to suicide, insurance fraud, public meltdowns by frustrated people with no other recourse, etc.
Not eating meat should be an illegal offense.
You’re just as bad as a commie then.
Lmao
If you read what I said I'm the opposite, it was a capitalist statement.
State imposed mandates on something as harmless as being vegetarian is absolutely retarded. Are you a child?
There is no such thing as ethics with meat. Animals aren't humans. Being a vegan or vegetarian is just crying out for attention. The animals normal cultures eat are stupid. I do however, dislike that some cultures eat cats and dogs. That to me is wrong.
Cows, pigs and chickens are stupid as hell though.
Eating dogs and cats is wrong. But don't you think animals shouldn't be treated unnecessarily cruelly when dispatched for the process of butchering and consumption? Hunting is supposed to be ethical whereby an animal is killed cleanly without suffering. Factory farming otoh, is unbelievably cruel and remarkably vicious; there are videos of chicken factory workers slamming live birds against walls for no apparent reason.
Just because an animal is not human doesn't mean it should be mistreated.
