There are so many obvious disrupters over there just screeching and downvoting, making the whole site miserable to be on. No real human gets that butt hurt over the vanilla comments I make. It's a shame. But this is what happens when you do nothing but copy a model (Reddit) that (((they))) figured out how to manipulate years ago. Not even making it a challenge for them. They just dust off the old playbook and make the same old plays. And now the site is on fire.

I'd add, re my other comment, that the only other differentiator may be in management, and not letting things go too far down the shit show path. Things may be a bit too pedantic here in that regard at the moment, or not. But it's far easier to lighten up gradually, than to impart necessary maturity in other people to keep things stable.

Better problems, easier solutions.
