With the way the builders like Virge, Srayzie and Kevdude are fucking up the place, I wouldn't give Voat more than 3 months before the last remaining non-pozzed goats leave. The Qtards will stay in their own little echo chamber but the other subs will just get overrun by shitposting and spam. Sad to see it go down but this was a cancer that formed on the inside that caused this to happen. Take notes, Poal. Is it even possible for a site to avoid this sort of fate anymore?

Eh, I think voat will hang on for a year or so more

Is the fate inevitable? Jury is still out; internet sociology lacks serious scholarship to identify and learn from patterns (not just anecdotes). But it could have parallels with the little freedoms those who live in cities give up, once the city grows beyond a certain size. Individual humans can't extend consideration evenly to beyond a certain number of members of a group.
