Simple- to prevent a free speech site from becoming too effective. To Voat's credit, the admins didn't seem to give a shit about that, and I'm sure they had plenty of angry messages from lefties over the years.
Simple- to prevent a free speech site from becoming too effective. To Voat's credit, the admins didn't seem to give a shit about that, and I'm sure they had plenty of angry messages from lefties over the years.
First they try to silence you with a DDOS, then they try to silence you by infiltration and moderation, then the media tries to drum up support for silencing you, then some financial bureaucrat tries to silence you, then they attack your host or registrar until they silence you.
... None of which convinces me in anyway that my ideas are wrong, quite to the contrary it seems to be a strong indicator that they are indeed correct.
