I got a puppy while my old dog was still alive so they could learn how we do things. Then I got another puppy to keep the younger dog occupied. That said I'd rather raise 27 litters of kittens at once than one puppy. Puppies are so destructive! My first dog I adopted at about 6-8 months so he was out of the puppy stage. Worst he ever did was chew some door/window-hold tabs in my tent while I was asleep camping with him. I had no idea how much work they were or how destructive they could be. The first puppy chewed up my favorite headlamp I had for a very long time, still pissed about that. Countless slippers destroyed.
We don't get many visitors and I don't think they have ever seen anyone wearing a chin diaper. That would be funny to train them to go nuts whenever they see someone wearing a mask though.
They do this because their teeth are coming out. This is extremely painful and so they chew on things. Buy some meat with the bone in, bake the bone(if you're going to do something else with the meat that requires bone off, though leave a little bit on the bone still) and give it to them. They will chew the bone and leave your slippers alone. Everything else is behavioral training
Make sure to keep the dog penned up when you're doing drywall and other tasks with a mask on though. I can't stress that last piece of advice enough.
What the fuck happened here?
