If you're unaware, webrings are something from the 90's internet. Before search engines really took off. They pretty much were just links to other sites that you would sometimes never hear about otherwise.
I personally don't see a downside to webrings.

Pretty much just showing support for each other. And allowing exposure for sites people might not otherwise hear about.
I think it would also allow people to find the community that best fits them. Voat isn't for everyone just as Poal isn't.

We think this is a good idea and we would be more than willing to enter some kind of discussion about it with other site owners. We support free speech over everything else so anything that promotes it we would be more than happy to participate with.
