Women see value, men see something used
It's because of sex differences in value assessment. Women see value in popular opinion. Both in selecting a partner, and in literally every advertisement ever. Heck, even food. Whatever's on your husband's plate tastes better.
Men see value as individual. If he likes Nickleback, then Nickleback is the best heckin' band ever and eff you if you think otherwise. The same goes for selecting a partner - he likes whom he likes, and doesnt give a rip who other guys like.
This is also why NPC female partner preferences are so consistent (6 figs, 6', 6 pack) while male preferences are loosely correlated to "human sized" and everything else is highly variable. Some guys want Barbie, some guys want a gal who's so...not Barbie...she thinks a pedicure is some type of treatment for hoof fungus.
It is quite simple: women have no loyalty. It is why they are always so jealous.
Thieves think everyone steals. Liars think everyone lies. Cheaters think everyone cheats. Women are always one good offer away from leaving. That is why they think men are afraid of commitment, because to them it means nothing so they jump into it without thought. Men on the othet hand want to make sure it is the right choice because it is a permanent choice.
Millennial women are broken beyond belief. It's not their fault. Their mother's never taught them how to be women. They only taught them how to be feminists.
Yes. I don't wear a ring, but that's mainly because I don't like jewelry in general.
I've thought of doing this. Lost my pinky ring again. That sort of shimmers like a fishing lure
Women see the ring and know that he has already been vetted, making him desirable. They know he has money to afford a family (rare for most men 18-30 these days)
Women do a similar trick, but instead of a ring, they set a selfie with their BF as their profile picture to signal that they're taken, but also to attract various bottom feeders who will try to challenge the status quo and steal them from their partner.
I have not experienced any of these things.
