The only reason I pay $8 a month to a music site is because they're donations only, and I appreciate what they're doing.
You get a blue checkmark on your name and bragging rights to say you have a blue checkmark. There's also something about it meaning you are who you say you are, but that seems like a load of bullshit to me.
