@stupidbird is correct, at least where I live we could leave our homes. But we couldn’t go anywhere except big box stores and liquor stores, much less do anything else. I live in a more reasonable state, but even here I couldn’t go kayak fishing on a fucking lake that is 3 miles in diameter…which is fucking ridiculous. One of my fishing buddies at the time was a sheriff deputy and I was giving him shit about it because cops would legit come after you for breaking the rules. Long story short, everyone’s constitutional rights in the whole country were violated to varying degrees (depending on where you live). The fucking truth-twisters in those twitter screenshots are trying to skate on a technicality, but they’re wrong in a lot of instances. In California, people were calling the cops on one another for taking walks and shit like that. And I’ll never forget the video of the police boat accosting a guy in the ocean who was paddle boarding all by himself. The twitter post in question mentions “when kids wrote about COVID”…well, lots of kids *were* forced to stay in their homes by crazy parents who treated the situation like the bubonic plague. So yes, that shit *did* happen. Apart from that, how many people’s businesses were destroyed by unconstitutional government mandates? And by extension, how many lives were ruined? And then you throw the whole vax mandate on top of it. These jackals can try to downplay the shit that happened all they want, but that shit was just too traumatic for too many people for them to memory hole it. I hope they keep trying to memory hole it, though, because it’s only going to force people to awaken to the fuckery more and more.
