The current government in Ukraine seems to think they are entitled to make demands of the rest of the world and offer nothing in return.

Elon is right to handle them this way. If they can't even find a diplomat who knows what diplomacy is, do they have any business governing a region?

Here's a quick political science lesson for any Ukrainians here. Nation states do not have inalienable rights like an individual. Instead they have power. If they have enough power to maintain a monopoly on force in the region they claim sovereignty over, then they have sovereignty. If not, they become a vassal/client state, or cease to exist.

A state is not entitled to sovereignty or even existence. Ukraine is not entitled to the protection of being a US/NATO vassal while also calling the shots, as though they aren't dependent on our help.
