Orchestrating what? Calling them out on basic shit as due diligence? Have you ever tried to buy a company before? It's surprisingly trivial to find these types of absolutely huge flaws in otherwise successful and good looking (for acquisition) companies. My wife and I, both laymen at this, did it dozens of times while looking at multi million dollar companies, and uncovered all sorts of shit including a guy claiming his multiple private residences' power as business expenses. It's not that hard.
He probably has a due diligence business lawyer doing the grunt work, but that's hardly "orchestration" and I'm sure he could have done the grunt work himself too, it's simply not that complicated.
The fact is the only factor that none of us could do is having the capital available to buy the company, the rest is child's play.
I worked for a boomer who bought 3 brand new trucks using his business as collateral for the loans, then used the debt forgiveness for business loans from last year to pay them off. One of the trucks was sold to his VP, so this fuck literally made money off of debt forgiveness. There was a website floating around letting you see what businesses in your zipcode got debt forgiveness.
