I think Elon is trolling a bunch of people for a quick few billion in profit. Just a few weeks of allowing #BareShelvesBiden and #FauciLiedPeopleDied could change the course of history. Therefore, they're not going to let it fall into the control of someone who might allow it. They only way they can do this is to run the price of the stock up higher than Elon's offer and keep it there for a few months. The Vanguards and Blackrocks can easily do this. Meanwhile Elon dumps his shares at the 50%+ premium he offered for the buyout. (((They))) have to keep buying shares at that price to avoid legal problems. Elon exits his position in twitter with a bunch of profit.
Pretty good for a few weeks of work. It gets people asking about (((who))) owns various media franchises, and why they aren't willing to make a quick buck by selling their ownership stake.
