I’m no brain surgeon but it doesn’t take a genius to look up what individual stocks/bonds a particular mutual fund is composed of. Your brokerage firm will share most of this information with you freely if you act like you want to pick out a fund to invest in. Once you learn what a mutual fund is mostly composed of you can create a smaller mirrored version of it for your own portfolio by purchasing the shares of stock individually yourself on your brokerage app without paying any % of fees to a foul hook nosed fund manager.
You'll always be days, months, or even a quarter behind the funds moves if you do that. ARK Invest is the only company that posts their daily trades that I know of.
Are brain surgeons considered geniuses?
I'm not a doctor.
