That a woman thinks she needs to be paid to have a child is a testament to how completely women have been destroyed by feminism and woman's liberation (so-called -- it actually enslaved women to corporations and careers). Woman have lost touch with who and what they are. They can no longer sense what they must do in life. They have completely lost sight of their purpose, which is to bear and raise children. That's the reason women were created by God. That's why they exist. And they have lost awareness of this fact, which means that they are utterly and hopelessly damned for eternity.

Too many men (and women) are not very discerning about the long term consequences of pairing with vile people. And I’m speaking from experience as a divorced guy. But I fucking learned now.

Unfortunately, many of us have to learn discernment the hard way. The bigger question is whether or not he’ll actually learn anything from what he’s been exposed to up until this point. It sounds like he’s right on the cusp of a “eureka moment”, but I’m sure the other redditards will convince him that HE is the asshole for taking issue with any of this.

A lasting relationship is about commitment. Reading the description of their relationship it's clear there is no commitment, except in the financial sense. As such him reimbursing her for the income hit she's going to take by taking time off to have a kid is both fair and makes perfect sense.

But then they should also address what to do in the event that she decides to put her career on hold to stay home with the kid. In that case, surely, she should be paid for the work she does. And what's a fair wage for a Mom these days? But what if, instead, he decides to stay home then what should he be paid? Gee this gets complicated fast.

It would be much easier if he just kicked her to the curb and started banging bimbos instead. Cheaper too. And if he wants love and companionship then get a dog.
