So, a move to EV's would require a massive overhaul and ramp up of the entire nation's power grid, which is already overtaxed and on the brink of failure, and done with "renewable" energy, which is retard talk for incredibly expense shit energy (and no. Nuclear energy would never be tolerated in the US, and should be considered a crime against humanity in China). All to get 100 miles before pulling into a battery change station with every other smug douche and waiting your turn.

And our summers (in Texas) means a/c cranked up on high, so double? Doubt it.

I'll pass, and laugh.

The EV zealots that want all this to happen in ten years are delusional. I think we can do it, where it makes sense*, but it isn't going to happen in the short term.
