I wonder if they realize how idiotic they look when they ask for bobs, and they do it as a joke, or if they are actually morons. Looking at India as a whole I lean towards the latter.

Dude, it is almost certainly the latter. They are by far the lamest and least self aware race on the planet. Just look at their music and movies as a barometer. It's their best and most creative making these things and they are puke inducing cringe.
