The value of a liberal arts degree has never been in getting a job. Its value has always been in broadening the outlook of those who receive it. A good liberal arts degree familiarizes the student with the great art, literature and philosophy of Western civilization. It gives a deeper sense of history, and the ability to relate to different cultural norms. It literally broadens the mind.

Unfortunately, the liberal arts have been raped and murdered by cultural Marxists. It is probably impossible to get a good liberal arts degree today in any major university. Every subject is twisted and distorted by critical theories and socialist nonsense.

This is not going away. If I was a young guy right now I'd be going into robotics. The jobs will be in maintaining, repairing, programming and resupplying the robots.

Can't get the Simpsons quote out my head. Almost identical.

"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Mr. Bucket eventually got a job working on the robots that replaced him screwing on the lids in the toothpaste factory.

Resupply will be for those who can't do the previous 3.

At first maybe. It'll take all kinds to feed the machines. But even keeping the bins and dispensers filled will eventually be done by automated drones. Kiosk remains in constant contact with the warehouse, giving updates of current supplies and current and estimated rates of usage. Warehouse robots load the drone, drone leaves the warehouse, follows its route round the kiosks. Pulls up next to it, doors open, full bins and dispenser cartridges are exchanged for empties using a modular rack system. And so it goes. Untouched by human hands. From factory to customer, no humans involved.

Might need to do an updated remake of Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times", but with robots. https://youtu.be/2gLa4wAia9g?t=20
