The glowies and the jews seem to whine about having to make a single post and be active in it. That system is there so sleepers can't just start posting all of a sudden, they have to do SOMETHING before running free on the board.
According to this crowd, no other social news aggregator does this, completely ignoring the fact that many reddit subs will prohibit you from posting until you reach a much higher post or time count than Poal does.
