Secondly, this banal use of "disagree" - like, sure, alright, I drive a Jag, you drive a Ferd F-teen-thousand the size of a house, we can disagree on what the best car is, and get on fine otherwise, but this doesn't work when there's a fundamental difference of values; if I want a virtuous society that exhalts the transcendental qualities of its people, and you want to cater to the whims of every weak bitch who squeaks out a tear or two, then we can't "love" one another at all; we can't even get on. Best we could do is to tolerate one another, which can only ever work in the short term since over time tolerance tends to resentment. The rest of the quote reads like fairly standard leftoid babble; the kind of thing you see get tweeted every so often, "disagreement rooted in my oppression" - I think the nog doth protest a little too much, but being charitable I might say they're try to get at the values-difference thing from the other side and failing because the other side's an inherently unstable platform from which to reach.
