I'm fum. Think I've visited it a time or two when researching cocktails, but the whiny nature of their stuff that makes it onto Poal has set me against it. Kind of like a syphilitic whore scares your junk inside out. No bueno. No want.

Used to read a lot of the tech subs. Even they became whiny and hivemind-ish.

The final time I tried to ask a question it was in the ESP8266 (a microcontroller) sub. Asked if anyone had some design resources for on-the-board antennas for a particular device.

The anger and whinging I got from the people there turned me off. All they could do was screech "Why are you doing that? Use this pre-made device instead!"

Well, if you'd read the question I said I had a manufacturing project, was looking at making 1000s of these, and using a pre-made device won't work due to cost and size.

Why Reddit can not be trusted.

In November 2016, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman (/u/spez) (old.reddit.com) edited comments of users criticizing him. (theverge.com)

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.

Although shortly after he applogized and promised never to do it again, it clearly gives away how Reddit tends to handle criticism.
