From the post: "I’m thinking back to the early-American homesteading days when a man could venture into uncharted territory and make a simple life for himself. It seems like every square inch of Earth is owned by someone, but are there any places someone could still do this in modern times?"

This isn't so crazy. It depends on what free means. If it means not paying rent or a mortgage, there are options. For instance, you can be a ward of the state and live off of taxpayers. You can also negotiate a situation when you get room and board for performing work or a service.

If you want to homestead, I think Alaska offers this opportunity too. But I wouldn't characterize it as free. You have to put a lot of hard work in.

I think people have a misconception about free. Nothing is free. There's a cost for everything. Even niggers living in ghettos off of taxpayers aren't living free. The cost is insidious. They have to endure hardships of violence, murder, jail time and so on. Niggers are actually performing a service of subverting white society by the rulers who brought them there. They're not there by accident. You and I would never consider such a lifestyle.

Yeah, I agree with all of that. Since it was something from reddit though.. They tend to think a little more shallowly than that and just want to live without having to pay for anything which I take as an extension of not having to work either as that would be paying with your labor.

People on reddit are communists. Basically, children who don't want to take responsibility. They grew up in families that took care of everything. Now these same children are being subverted by communist tyrants who tell them the state will take care of them. If course, it's a lie, but they want to believe. All they have to do is pretend they're trans or LGBT, be on isreal's side, buy Bud light and so on.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I've heard Russia will give free land to people who want to homestead in Siberia. You just have to deal with short growing seasons, huge horsefly and mosquito populations, brutally long and cold winters, lack of service and utilities, and then of course having to fight off Russian bears and wolves. The wolves are known to form large packs with more than 100 individuals who will take on anything.

Yeah, ive read that too. Apparently it is true. It would be a damn hard life and your chance of a brutal painful death is high but it would be "free".

I plan on becoming the legal definition of a monster (a person in the sea who can’t own land), with maybe Starlink as my only expense. Hundreds of kilowatts of some future stable battery, and solar panels coating my entire homestead boat. You can buy a giant derelict ship for relatively cheap, they’re scrapped all the time.

There was a guy doing a video series on buying one of those old steel boats and completely rehabbing it. It might be cheap to buy to to working and get it up to sea worthy might be a money pit.. Though the pay off is just having to pay for fuel when you need to and trying to fish for most of your food I guess.
