It makes perfect sense. They once rules the world with an unlimited free workforce and now after all their woke hubris they have destroyed their greatness. They need content to make money so even if they pay some money for something they make more money from them it makes sense. Problem is that it is insincere and that isn't something people care about. Reddit has a real community and they let the leftists destroy it with their woke bullshit and you can't buy what it once was.
