living on a very large but artificial flat plane messes with peoples heads. i bet they lose it over how quiet these places are. but neurosis are incredibly common in the city rats.

The last time I ever hung out in New York City I had ridden my bike from my hometown about 40 miles north down to New York to Central Park. I was sitting in the park just taking a break and I'm looking around at everybody. And I just noticed how crammed it was and how there's just no room and everyone's on top of everybody and they just look like a bunch of crazed rats. And I just thought to myself there's nothing cool about being here, these people are fucking idiots, matter of fact I'm an idiot for being here too.

there's a good chance they'll absolutely flip out without the noise. it messes with their wiring if they're in any kind of open field or forest and can't constantly hear 80+dB 24/7 and/or not be with in 4ft of another human.

Yeah, I believe it. I moved to a large city in a area that I thought was somewhat detached. I was completely wrong. There is some strange Humm or something in those areas, it was driving me crazy. Moved to an actual quiet area and feel a lot better now. It must be like that to them but in reverse?
