From a statistical science standpoint, correlation *doesn’t* equal causation. That *is* true. However, correlation is absolutely probable cause to dig deeper to either validate or invalidate, if possible. In any case, my main complaint with these types of self-aggrandizing, self-proclaimed intellectuals is that they believe EVERYTHING - including common sense knowledge - “requires a source”. And then, of course, there’s their idea of a “source” to begin with…which doesn’t ever require any sort of real validity outside of groupthink-enforced, dogmatic belief that if someone with a particular title says something, then it *must be true*…because apparently according to them, “humans with credentials never lie” unless it’s humans with credentials who say shit that they don’t personally like…when in reality, people lie all the time..and those with credentials are not only not exempt from this, they’re probably more likely do it more often because they can be reasonably assured that dumbfucks like that reddit poster won’t question it at all, but rather lap it up because “muh credentials.” They claim to be for truth, but they aren’t. They’re for a particular narrative so long is it fits within their preconceived notions and implicit biases, and then labeling it as “truth”, then attacking anyone who doesn’t agree to pretend along with them (faggots and trannies are a case in point)…and they wouldn’t know truth or not to begin with, whatever the case. And that’s because they’re incapable of thinking for themselves to begin with, and incapable of spotting patterns and assigning meaning to them. Or they’re just intellectually lazy as fuck. Either way, asshat retards like that can fuck right off.
