I think reddit is fucking gay and most of the user base is too. But, to me, it is a valuable source of information. There are a lot of smart people on there... Reddit is doing this to makes the mods look like the bad guys. And everyone is falling for it. The "REAL" problem is Reddit trying to charge for information. Information should always be free. Reddit owners have never done anything for anyone. But the users and the mods have contributed tons of data to that site. And now they are telling people that they have to pay to use it. Or pay by giving up your personal info and signing up... Nah. I think the mods are right on this one... The mods behind the degenerate subs will probably get paid to keep their degeneracy there. This is the reality of reddit...

Why Reddit can not be trusted.

In November 2016, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman (/u/spez) (old.reddit.com) edited comments of users criticizing him. (theverge.com)

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.

Although shortly after he applogized and promised never to do it again, it clearly gives away how Reddit tends to handle criticism.
