Back when I still used Plebbit (I started there after Digg became kiked to hell, when it was still mostly uncensored, yes I'm an oldfag).

About 2015 I got fed up with the kike nigger (((Monsanto))) shills constantly popping out of the fucking ether in any thread in which the name was tangentially mentioned that, one day bored at work with nothing to do (I'm a software engineer) I created a bot that would:

  • Initiate a new TOR node
  • Create a new account named after a targeted (((Monsantard))) shill account
  • Find a comment of the targeted (((Monsantard))) shill
  • Copy the source comment of the Monsantard
  • Reply to the Monsantard's comment with the copied comment
  • Repeat, infinitely

At this time on (((Preddit))) there was no Captcha, because (((Correct the Record))) needed to be able to quickly create hundreds of new accounts.

Due to each comment being on a separate, new account, kike tranny nigger faggot Plebbit was unable to deploy any of their normal moderation tools against it.

This bot was so effective that every single subplebbit that it posted into had to BAN the Monsantard kike account (not MY accounts, the kike shill's account) from posting, because neither admins nor subplebbit moderators were able to do anything about it, and it posted one comment every 1s, forever, going down the list of the kike's comments to a certain depth (usually about 20, with each one having 500ish accounts post spammed reply comments to that comment). If the kikes posted multiple comments in the thread it would destroy the entire thread, even if the pleb kike moderators deleted them.

As an aside, I discovered special types of bans that can happen on Plebbit, specifically what I call a "super-IP-ban", which just means that it bans ANY account that has EVER posted from a specific IP (I accidentally ran it without TOR a few times).

A funny thing happened due to that, which was that my friend from work one day came to my desk and said to me:

"Sup bro, can you believe this shit? Reddit BANNED my account for NO REASON at all! What the fuck?"

I had to keep the world's best pokerface ever conceived on when he said this to me because I knew precisely why his account got banned (super-IP-ban bans ANY account that has EVER posted from a specific IP, and he posted from inside the work network which was super-IP-banned, even though his account was 10000% normalfag and had nothing to do with my activities).

I laughed my ass off so hard when I went to take a break after my friend told me about this.

I'm probably the only person here or really anywhere in our circles that has had literal tens of thousands of accounts banned on Plebbit due to my bot.

Addendum: I eventually had to abandon the bot because of them enabling Joogle captchas, but in the modern era it should be pretty trivial to bypass those. The "super-IP-ban" is highly abuseable. Think e.g., a Starbucks wifi, or better yet, a campus wifi. If you managed to get an account super-IP-banned on one of those networks EVERY single Plebbit account that has ever posted from that IP (whether or not they posted recently, engaged in spamming behavior etc) would be instantly and retroactively banned.

I posted this vulnerability on 4chan and my thread was insta-deleted. I haven't bothered posting on 4chan since because it's super fucking gay that they deleted the thread about it.

Kek, that’s great. I also use to get feisty with the Monsanto shills, found out they had a an internal database with every negative article about them and spreadsheets of what to counter with on every point of every article.

Man I hated those assholes.

I know right, I fucking hated these fags so much. They eventually even got randoms to start noticing how they would just pop up any time Monsanto was mentioned in any capacity at all. It was kind of hilarious.

Oh holy fck, i recall monsanto shills on jootube when i finally became a somewhat active commentor back in the day (before having several accounts banned over time) prob mid/late 2000's. Complete passive aggressive faggots.

You could really do some damage with something like this... And I hope you think bigger, you could program them to destroy the "front page of the internet." That's "totally not for sale..." Good luck out there, fren.

That's funny. Follow your target, wait for him to post using wifi, connect and activate bots, permaban everyone who ever posted from there.

You should go vacation in isreal.

Sounds like its time to bring down reddit

Id like to see this done to every social media site for a month.

The narcissistic melt down would be fun to watch.

Source code, or it didn't happen.

[–] 3 pts

I mean, it was an iMacros script from 8 years ago, I don't have it lol.

That said it was super simple, the only extra part of it was a program that closed the current TOR browser and opened a new one before activating the script which just did this:

  • go to reddit.com, new account page
  • fill in details
  • go to shill's profile
  • pick the 1-20th latest comment (this increments every time, then resets after 20)
  • reply and paste comment
  • repeat (including the close TOR, reopen TOR helper)

Alright. I'll allow this one. You provided documentation.

I've thought about writing some code that would forward the captchas to a site so one could crowd source getting past them.

At this point you could basically use the CLIP encoder from one of the image generation AIs to figure out which squares to click or whatever pretty much automatically and locally. Either that or a regular OpenCV style object detection.

I was going to bot reddit but around the time of 2019 they would ban you from nearly the whole site just for posting anywhere anything that even remotely seemed like a right leaning post. Also they eventually changed their system so the most voted user isn't even the one on top. Also they basically removed r/all so you don't know who's seeing what anymore.

So the amount of effort needed in bot development now to get even a smidgen of the impact possible before would be like a full time job to keep maintained.

I mean they basically murdered their site just to keep sane people out. I figured I might as well just "leave" it as a suicided site.

100%, I mentioned these issues in another post and this kind of shit is largely why I haven't re-developed and improved the bot. The only real way to make it work now is to pre-season tens of thousands of accounts with normie-tier posts, and making sure browser fingerprints are unique and a whole host of other shit. It's just not worth it to me at this point, like it was when I made the original bot and it took only a couple of days of effort.

It wasn't quite the same, but I was IP banned during The Fattening. It was perhaps the greatest ~three days I've ever had on the internet. Reddit bans a bunch of subs to make themselves look good, people are upset. At this time, there was no "new account phase," so a brand new account could make a new subreddit. There also was no email required, so I could make infinite accounts as fast as I could type. It's literally all I did for about three days straight as soon as I got off work.

The entire website was flooded with hundreds of new subreddits, and thousands of throwaways, with each and every one reposting fatpeoplehate, punchablefaces, and Ellen Pao stuff constantly. During this era, there was some "most popular subreddits of the day" thing, which was also flooded, so they had to start manually filtered the list to ensure there was only normie stuff. Eventually, I believe they blocked new subreddits from entering the Front Page, but New and Rising were still flooded.

Eventually, we all know what happened. There were a bunch of IP bans, individual account bans, cracked down on subreddit creation, new accounts can't moderate, Voat gained in popularity, then declined and stabilized after a couple months or so, etc., etc.

And everyone lived miserably ever after, The End.

Haha I remember all the spinoffs of FPH. Good shit.

You know what I really miss though is CringeAnarchy. One of the funniest forums ever to exist. RIP.

Good work. That is funny!

super-IP bans

How long would it take to find out and get banned their top network traffic location, that AFB?

[–] 1 pt

I think it's much more difficult now to actually get a super-IP-ban, because they have new accounts locked down so hard. You'd have to create and pre-season tens of thousands of accounts over the course of months, before hand.

I once did an experiment in current Plebbit in acting like a normalfag and it's nearly impossible to get unsandboxed for the front page retard subplebbits.

Ex. I made a new account with a "legit" email (GMail... because Plebbit will sandbox you even harder if you don't use a mainstream email provider). I posted standard type responses to normalfag threads, like pictures of cats and shit where I would say "OMG so cute!" or whatever.

Or tried to anyway. Even simply posting 100% normie type comments like that, every single comment was automatically either removed entirely, shadowbanned, rate limited etc etc.

Many subplebbits now will automatically delete any comment if you have less than a few thousand karma of some sort. Gaining enough karma to participate in the main subplebbits is essentially a non-starter.

Smaller subplebbits don't typically have these rules, but the site-wide sandboxing is so restrictive it doesn't matter.

[–] 1 pt

That’s amazing. Also amazing is that they keep track of every single IP your account has ever used.

[–] 0 pt

hardly amazing, kinda stoopid, signature deep state.

[–] 0 pt

keep track of every single IP your account has ever used.

.Yep, big data analytics.

Awesome story! I like the way you think.
