The point is to gradually replace people's idealization of the American people with blacks and other minorities, even though the majority is still white. They don't actually care about equality.
These are just the Super Bowl commercials though, I can't imagine how overrepresented it is when you take into consideration all other TV and Youtube ads. I don't watch ads anyway.

There are entire Spanish-speaking networks. I suspect that's where all the "hispanics" are. However, they are fond of featuring white Spanish speakers. On the regular channel, they speak English mostly, so I don't know how you know who is "hispanic". I guess he was looking for obvious Mestizos. I suspect he well undercounted but again, that's an impossible thing to determine by looking.
