How was he bailed? Aren't they holding the Jan6 protesters without bail?

Good question. According to @FeNi's links he was arrested on the 10th, and not released until almost April, which seems to argue against his being a Fed... Are we sure this is the same guy?

I think the people they are holding without bail are because they haven't been charged. They're just being detained.

Or he was able to afford a stronger and more compotent attorney than other people. There is a welfare cliff where you have too many assets for a public defender but not enough to hire any lawyer worth a damn.

Why Reddit can not be trusted.

In November 2016, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman (/u/spez) (old.reddit.com) edited comments of users criticizing him. (theverge.com)

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.

Although shortly after he applogized and promised never to do it again, it clearly gives away how Reddit tends to handle criticism.
