no, I'm pointing out what is a reasonable position to take.
facts: a lot of people have died from covid this bed is an extreme treatment for lung issues/covid this is a picture from a hospital this happens https://www.kold.com/2020/07/25/icu-doctor-says-rotoprone-bed-saved-tucson-covid-patients-life/
these bits are reasonable: a picture from someone who likely works in a hospital, showing what is known to be an extreme treatment for covid. There will be a lot of nurses seeing people dying from covid, and some of them will want to counter the anti vax tinfoil, and posting stories like this are common now
these bits are inferred: this could be a covid patient and the OP probably works in a covid ward because they had access, and this is showing an actual patient on end of life care. The OP is posting this as context because some people don't realise what could happen.
reasonable context: if I were a nurse and I believed that people were dying because they were not taking this seriously, then I would post the same picture in the hope that I could save a few more people.
equally you could think this is a larp from someone pretending to be a nurse, looking up some buzzwords and putting them in the right order, and somehow get access to a patient on a rotoprone who was dying of lung cancer or something. To me that's a lot of effort to go to, and if someone in the same hospital saw their front page post and recognised this room/equipment, they would be easily busted.
It's your job to examine your own biases in this and give equal weight to both explanations
So you have evidence that this is a person dying because they did not take covid seriously, and not due to, or influenced by any other circumstance?
They are not elderly?
They are not immunocompromised?
You are certain they are completely unvaccinated?
Or did they have one dose?
You have proof that their decision to not be vaccinated was due to not taking covid seriously rather than a pre-existing medical condition that would make the vaccine risky?
This is what a healthy 25 year old should expect if they get covid?
Look at all of the assumptions you have to make to go along with your preferred interpretation. None of these variables are accounted for.
When all i am saying, is they did not provide enough context or evidence to scare me like the OP intended.
So you have evidence
I stated very clearly what were facts and what was just possible
to scare me like the OP intended
I'd imagine medical professionals don't want to 'scare' anyone, they'd just prefer if you didn't die on their shift because that creates paperwork and a heavy body to move
So the person in the bed is unvaccinated, young, and otherwise healthy? Or is it a 90 year old pack a day smoker with copd, diabetes, and 200 extra pounds? Or something in between?
Because the point of the photo and headline is to scare people who may not be in the same boat as the person pictured.
There is no chance that anyone on reddit would misrepresent a photo for internet points, right? Has that ever happened in the history of reddit?
It is still unsubstantiated. Just a picture and a headline, nothing more, no more context, nothing.
I could find you all kinds of misrepresented images on the internet. Unless it's your first day online you should probably understand that and know not to just blindly trust a headline
And, if you gave as much credence as you pretend to to medical experience, you would probably be arguing in favor of Robert Malone in regard to MRNA vaccines.
But it's not about logic or consistency, you like what is conveyed so it must be true. Proof be damned.
There is no chance that anyone on reddit would misrepresent a photo for internet points, right?
Oh yes that's possible, I said as much. easily busted though because hundreds of people will be colleagues and will see reddit, so unlikely
It is still unsubstantiated
nobody is expecting "proof" here, you want the patients chart or something? It's not Lupus... it's just determine if it's either possible or reasonable. And it's both given the points I outlined
I could find you all kinds of misrepresented images on the internet
I could show you 100% proof of a flat earth on poal, and you couldn't prove otherwise. the issue is that it is extremely unlikely given other more reasonable facts
if you gave as much credence as you pretend to to medical experience
medical research has got us this far without killing too many, I'm inclined to give it more credence than bitchute
you like what is conveyed so it must be true
no, that's clearly you, because you haven't even bothered to dispute what I've posted as not being reasonable. classic tinfoiler.
