For context it used to be a very White, very safe part of the country. Majority population was German and Norwegian families who came over and made homes there a few generations ago including mine. There's a ton of Somalis there now so sometimes you'll hear stories of bullshit happening. My impression is it's been a hotspot for "activism" ever since the George Floyd stuff.
