“Scientists” are both ideologically driven and easily bought.
most of it is just like normal people, with a few added pressures; they do not want to be in the "out" group, they only every see things that the "in" group produces, they are afraid of losing their funding if they study the wrong thing, they are afraid of losing their positions if they say the wrong thing. There is a reason there used to be whistle blower protections and protection for tenured professors.
They live off of research grants. If you do legitimate research and provide a negative outcome to a company for their product, good luck getting another grant from anyone else.
Yes, and the same goes for public grants. The EPA isn't likely going to fund someone trying to end the climate change hoax. Just like string theory people have made their whole careers around climate change, and there are huge market pressures to keep it going, and only that pesky truth to end it.
