Similarly, skepticism is great, but remember that it doesn't mean not believing the consensus or science, it means not believing anything without sufficient evidence. The best evidence comes from the scientific method, peer-reviewed double-blind controlled studies, and people who are capable of accurately interpreting the resulting data. Too many are only skeptical about expert opinion but will instantly believe anything their aunt on Facebook tells them. ETA: on a side note, people also need to learn the difference between evidence and proof.
I think this fucker needs to practise what he preaches. The clinical trials for the vaccine haven't even finished yet, thus there is simply not enough evidence to prove that it's safe.
