Sounds like both of them were under a lot of abuse and aren't mentally sound. There's no telling what else is going on. To get along like a house on fire sounds sexual in a degenerate way. Multiple people saying they flirt in a sexual way. I can't fathom being attracted to a sibling. Goes against all that is natural.
