Satanism was started by a jew named Anton LeVay, who described it as "basically objectivism, but with some religious ritual and symbolism to make it more appealing", it used to appeal to me when I was in high school, but I've obviously moved on since then, can't remember most of it, as it has been a while since then and that was a period of my life I've done my best to try and forget about, but I feel pretty confident in my current position that's admittedly objectivist-influenced, but more focused on collectivism based on genetic similarity (Which Ayn Rand would have opposed) than just on individualism (though my concept of "drawing circles" does put the individual in the first circle, the obligation towards self can be overcome by multiple individuals in the second circle, or by just one individual in the second circle who is given priority due to being of a newer generation than my own), five of my main influences are Richard Dawkins, Adolf Hitler, Friederich Neitzsche, Utilitarian Ethics, and Capitalist Ethics (particularly the concepts of the Non-Aggression Principle and Night-Watchman Minarchist State).
He capitalized on it and made it a brand, he's not even close to the one who started it.
